The Avengers!

The movie I've been waiting several years for! Ever since the first Iron Man movie was made!

Today I actually saw it and it totally lived up to my expectations!

That many hunks together in one movie....I was drooling!

And of course my favorite Robert Downey Jr was there as well....Best actor ever....love him!

Although with this movie I realized that the guy playing Thor (Chris H....something) is seriously hot and
brilliant as well....I went straight now and saw the Iron man and Thor movies!

Lusty drawings

For The past month Ive been drawing a specific picture as a stress release outlet...this night I finished it. :)

Admittedly most of it is copied from a painting I love, but I was rather inspired by a couple of new influences in my life...

I discovered that the paper I had used to draw on, couldn't really handle paint without damaging the paper, so I had to change a few things.

I used crayons, coal, chalk, color pencils and drawing dust colors and a bit of water paint as it isn't that heavy instead in order to save the drawing the best I could.

The color nuance I've copied from the painting but I've Made the couple more muscular and fit and changed a few features incl. hair color....

I like the final result...though that paint strip couldn't be helped... Luckily it's the same nuance!

Oscar Night

Im a Hardcore movie geek and I always have an opinion them.

Heck I even work as a movie critic for an online magazine!

Being such a nerd, February is of course my favorite month simply because of the Oscars! Its not the dresses, its not the hot movie stars....no, its the fact that THAT one night a year, it is celebrated to be a movie lover. To know so many things about movies is considered cool that one day.....I love it!

I wish every day could be Oscar Night :)

This year I went with two friends and saw the entire thing in the theater. It took all night (when viewing from DK), and I loved Billy Crystal being back as a host and his montage well as the Circus act. So inspired.

I actually feel privileged that I've seen it, because it will never be shown again.

The two movies; 'The Artists' and 'Hugo' that have not had that much publicity to them yet, ran with almost every award.

Sadly, my future husband George Clooney did not win an Oscar, but my hero Meryl Streep did for her incredible performance in The Iron Lady as PM Thatcher.

Such a nice night.
